Kimberly Mitchell, MFA
Assistant Professor
Kimberly Mitchell is a tenure track Assistant Professor in the 澳门六合彩开奖结果 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is an experienced designer and an accomplished researcher who has presented her research both nationally and internationally at conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. Prior to her arrival at UTK, she was a tenured Associate Professor of Visual Communication at Northern Arizona University.
Her multidisciplinary research focuses on the social impact of design, and how by creating awareness, a designer can improve a community鈥檚 quality of life.聽Her work bridges design and gerontology. Her most recent project involves designing an AI robot interface as a conversational partner and monitor in individuals with Alzheimer鈥檚 disease and related dementias.聽聽
